Biogas and Energy Production with Nanozyme

Anaerobic decomposition is the most important process in biogas production from organic wastes. In this process, the bacteria decompose organic matter into its components, while gases such as methane and carbon dioxide are released. Methane gas released in specially designed systems is used in the production of electrical energy. Nanoparticles or enzyme-like nanomaterials can be added to the medium to support the work of bacteria responsible for anaerobic digestion.

In our ongoing project, FeNPs act as coenzymes in the enzyme responsible for degradation in bacteria and increase the amount of methane released.

In our project, which we continue to research and develop in accordance with our goal of "A Better Future" , organic wastes will be disposed of from the environment with a harmless cycle and at the same time will be a source of electrical energy.
